Hydraulic expansion packer mainly consists of valve system joint assembly\rubber barrel\central tube\casing sub.The valve system is divided into axial valve system and radial valve system.Radial valve system is composed of a set of three valve.
In the construction process, the replace plug will touch off the breaking stick which is sealed in the intake hole when the replace plug through the valve joint of the packer. The replace plug will make the casing form seal when it move to the spoiler (we also can use pitch or blind plate and pipe string process structures make casing form seal,for these process pipe string structure without plug through so we should take off the breaking stick
in advance),Bie pressure liquid through the valve system of intake hole into the open valve, when the pressure to achieve set valve, the pin on the open valve is snapped. Open valve open, and at the same time, single valve is opened, the fluid through limiting valve into the expansion cavity between center pipe and rubber cylinder ,make packer inflation and wall close contact form seal.
When the pressure of the expansion cavity reach the value of limiting valve's pin pressure, pin shear, limiting valve closed and will make intake hole sealing,the casing pressure value have no influence on the pressure inside the expansion cavity, realize safe seat seal, wellhead put pressure is zero, open valve automatic locking, realize permanent closed, after the downhole pressure operation does not affect the packer fate.
In some special pipe string process well, also can use the inner pipe tools to a packer, achieve completion purpose (such as packer direct completion and packer in the screen between the packer and completion method).
